Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. By requiring a second form of verification in addition to your password, 2FA helps protect your information from unauthorized access. Follow the steps below to set up 2FA on your account.

When account does not have configured Two-factor authentication (2FA), the user will see the page visible on the left.

To use two-factor authentication, your user will need to download and use an Authenticator application. We recommend using one of the following:

After choosing and installing one, the user will need to connect it with Ondato account. How to do it, you can see here:

Upon successfully connecting with the Authenticator app, users will be presented with Backup codes. It is crucial to copy and securely store these codes in a safe location. These Backup codes will be essential in the event that you lose access to your Authenticator. Should you encounter any difficulties, please reach out to customer support.


1 - Utilize the Copy button to duplicate the backup codes list.

2 - Click on Finish once you have securely saved the backup codes.


1️⃣ How to use Microsoft Authenticator?

1 - To add a new account, simply click on the plus sign.


2 - Choose the type of account you want to add. Typically, this would be a "Work or school account."


3 - Choose the "Scan a QR code" option.

4 - Scan the QR code displayed on the computer screen.

5 - Choose your newly created Ondato account.


6 - Input the one-time password code from your phone into the desktop field.

This password remains valid for a brief period (typically 30 seconds).


7 - Continue to complete the configuration.

1 - Open Microsoft Authenticator and choose the Ondato account.


2 - Input the one-time password code from your phone into the desktop field.

This password remains valid for a brief period (typically 30 seconds).


3 - Continue to login to your Ondato account.


2️⃣ How to use Google Authenticator?

1 - Add a new code by pressing plus sign.


2 - Choose the "Scan a QR code" option.
